Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule shipments to ensure delivery by promised deadlines

Process incoming orders and assign them to the appropriate carriers for dispatch

Drive continuous improvement initiatives within regional logistics operations, ensuring alignment with the regional supply chain strategy to support business growth and achieve company objectives

Oversee transportation and documentation for freight shipments across the U.S., including preparation of delivery notes, transfer orders, and shipment records

Monitor carrier performance against operational agreements and serve as the primary escalation point for Logistics Service Providers and internal teams on service-related issues

Lead or support investigations related to shipment complaints and claims, ensuring thorough follow-up and resolution

Collaborate with customer service to provide updates on order status and address special customer requirements

Identify and resolve delivery-related issues in a timely and efficient manner

Evaluate internal logistics processes and provide recommendations for improvement to the Logistics Director

Ensure consistent and effective order distribution by coordinating with multiple carrier partners and third-party logistics sites to guarantee reliable and on-time freight delivery
