Responsibilities

Operate and maintain hotel mechanical systems such as domestic water system, hot water systems, chilled water systems, pool systems

Operate and understand basic television system, plumbing systems and electrical systems through the hotel

Assist other engineers with repairs

Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies

Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations

Understand chiller operations

Clean all work areas after completing a job

Fill out daily paperwork

Qualification

Required

Must be able to understand chiller operations

Ability to climb stairs, ladders and scaffolding or use a man lift to work at heights up to 30 feet, often times reaching above head for extended periods of time

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, overnights, weekends and holidays

Preferred

Preferred experience with general plumbing, general electrical, paint, drywall and wall vinyl repairs

Preferred mechanical plant experience and knowledge in heating and cooling systems such as: water boilers, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, domestic water pumping stations and controls
