Payment Services Project Manager

North American Banking Company is seeking a Payment Services Project Manager to manage and oversee customer implementation, monitoring, and support processes for the Enhanced Risk Payments program. The role involves developing software application specifications, executing quality control, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing projects supporting the development and implementation of the Enhanced Risk Payments program at the direction of the AVP of Payments and Technology
Consult with the AVP regarding the training and development of employees supporting the Enhanced Risk Payments program
Review policies and procedures for efficiency and assure operational practices are properly established for the Enhanced Risk Payments program
Coordinate implementation of new policies and procedures to enhance program efficiency and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Provide training as needed for systems utilized by the Operations department for payment processing
Research new external developments or ideas that would affect operations, through trade and other publications and occasional outside visits or meetings
Perform other projects and tasks as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong working knowledge of item processing, ACH processing, merchant card acquiring systems and bank operations
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products
Ability to use analytical skills to solve practical and technical problems and work with a variety of concrete and unknown variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individual and groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
