Responsibilities
Conduct experiments to deliver new products
Evaluate new ingredients, materials, products, and processes
Assist in beverage flavor emulsion projects with technical guidance from manager
Execute shelf-life studies for various beverage applications; analyze data and submit detailed technical summary with conclusions and recommendations
Develop good understanding of emulsion science: types of emulsifiers, weighting agents, beverage prototypes and emulsion analysis methods
Perform specialized tests and procedures using complex equipment
Procure supplies and materials needed for laboratory research
Conduct literature reviews to obtain abstracts and information necessary for research
Resolve technical challenges linked to formulation and processes
Experience making emulsions, preparing delivery systems, and working with gums, hydrocolloids, proteins, sweeteners, and food colors is a plus
Qualification
Required
MUST have own laptop
Degree in related discipline (food science, biology, chemistry, other scientific disciplines)
Preferred
