Responsibilities

Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems with logical and mathematical solutions
Conduct software migration and enhancements for Payload Flight software systems, ensuring full functionality across all phases of integration and testing
Perform data analysis and develop processing tools to optimize software performance and compatibility
Ensure compliance with established software standards and industry best practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM degree with 5+ years of software development experience OR Master's degree in STEM with 3+ years of software development experience, OR Ph.D. with 1+ year of software development experience
Strong proficiency in C or C++ programming
Experience with Solaris Unix or Linux operating systems
Prior experience working with embedded software systems development, integration, and testing
Candidate must have an active DoD Secret Clearance at the time of application
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM degree with 8+ years of software development experience OR Master's degree in STEM with 6+ years of software development experience, OR Ph.D. with 4+ years of software development experience
Strong proficiency in C or C++ programming
Experience with Solaris Unix or Linux operating systems
Prior experience working with embedded software systems development, integration, and testing
Candidate must have an active DoD Secret Clearance at the time of application

Preferred

Prior experience with VxWorks and Windows
Experience working on MILSATCOM Payload programs
Proficiency in Perl and Python
Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking skills to resolve software development and migration anomalies and analyze test results
