Sales Development Manager

The Sales Development Manager will lead the development and optimization of Fastenal's digital content center, ensuring that digital assets and knowledge resources are well-structured and accessible while collaborating with stakeholders to drive projects from conception through execution.

Responsibilities

Leading and managing a team of knowledge center administrators
Establishing and managing SOP's for SharePoint content center libraries, metadata structures and digital asset organization
Managing SOP's for permissions, security settings and ensuring appropriate access and visibility for all knowledge resources
Developing and executing content and knowledge management strategies with stakeholders and team members
Overseeing documentation for content management audit processes and governance
Serving as a project lead for content migration and digital transformation initiatives
Creating an environment of collaboration continuous improvement

Required

Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
Possess at least 2 years of Fastenal experience OR have at least 2 years of combined experience in industry sales, administration, education, marketing, or customer service
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
Highly motivated and self directed with the ability to motivate others
Possess a creative mindset committed to customer service and providing solutions
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
Lead and motivate a team of employees
Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

Preferred

Previous experience with SharePoint or knowledge management
Understanding of content lifecycle management and digital organization principles
Previous experience with metadata, taxonomy and/or information architecture
Strong organizational and project management skills
Previous experience and understanding with AI tools, copilots and agents
