Responsibilities
Conduct MRI procedures on patients as per protocols and standards
Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during MRI scans
Maintain and operate MRI equipment, troubleshooting as necessary
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate imaging results
Participate in on-call rotation and flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays
Qualification
Required
ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT or CRT
Venipuncture class completion. Certificate must be provided at application; 10 sticks must be obtained within 30 days of hire
BLS from the American Heart Association
Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience in radiologic imaging obtained through a hospital-based training program or other formalized on-the-job program, in combination with current licensure/certification
2 years of MRI Tech experience
Preferred
Hospital and Cardiac MRI experience
Experience with Siemens Aera scanner
