Sales Engineer
LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking a Sales Engineer / Sales Representative with a strong blend of technical knowledge and sales expertise. This role focuses on expanding third-party business, identifying growth opportunities, and acting as a critical bridge between customers, sales teams, and technical teams throughout the sales lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and capture new leads and convert them into viable sales opportunities
Develop opportunity assessment and engagement plans aligned with business objectives
Plan and execute cross-sell and upsell strategies
Prioritize sales opportunities for maximum impact
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers
Prepare, review, and finalize sales quotes
Determine sales quote disposition and next steps
Develop tender and proposal strategies
Conduct headquarters-level reviews of proposal components
Review and respond to tender/proposal clarifications
Determine disposition of tenders and proposals
Prepare contract amendments, renewals, suspensions, and early terminations
Support contract lifecycle management activities
Act as a liaison between sales and technical teams to ensure accurate understanding of customer requirements
Ensure technical solutions align with customer needs during the sales cycle
Support investigation and validation of events impacting customer contracts
Collect and analyze market activity intelligence
Gather unit and competitive intelligence to support sales strategy
Identify trends and opportunities to grow third-party business
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
Proven experience in sales, sales engineering, or technical business development
Strong ability to identify opportunities and build long-term customer relationships
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and commercial teams
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
US Citizenship required (ITAR compliance)
Preferred
Experience selling technical or engineered products/services
Background in proposal development and contract negotiations
Familiarity with tendering processes and opportunity qualification
