Responsibilities
Lead resident relations and retention programs
Handle and resolve resident concerns or complaints
Start the lease renewal process with residents
Ensure that residents submit rent payments on time
Connect with residents regarding delinquent balances
Input and collect late fees, rental agreement amounts, and concessions
Prepare bank deposits
Assist with the eviction of residents in compliance with court orders
Handle and coordinate move-in and move-out details
Process paperwork and maintain resident files confidentially
Prepare weekly traffic, renewal, and financial reporting
Ensure the office team has necessary office supplies
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in absence of the Community Director
Initiate and deliver resident lease violations and late notices
Share organizational policies and ensure protocol is followed
Walk apartment homes in preparation for move-ins
Inspect apartment homes upon resident move-out
Qualification
Required
2-3 years of industry experience or experience in a related hospitality or customer service environment is required
Familiarity with federal, state, and jurisdictional laws and regulations concerning multi-family housing, evictions, Fair Housing, and associate safety is required
A strong foundation in financials and the ability to accurately calculate figures such as concessions, late fees, prorated rates, etc
A remarkable sense of professionalism especially when dealing with resident issues, future residents, and emergency situations
High attention to detail
A positive, customer-focused attitude and willingness to serve
Preferred
An Associate's Degree, or equivalent from a college or technical school is preferred
