Responsibilities
Focus on driving new business opportunities by building relationships, making strategic connections, and qualifying organizations in need of agency services
Prioritize local government contracts and higher-education bids, alongside founder-led and SMB opportunities
Engage in relationship-driven business development centered on identifying needs, initiating conversations, and converting opportunities into signed agency scopes in collaboration with internal leadership
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in business development, sales, partnerships, consulting, or client acquisition
Strong ability to generate and qualify prospective opportunities
Experience with contract negotiation and closing service-based deals
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred
Familiarity selling marketing, creative, digital, or professional services preferred
Exposure to local government, municipal, or higher-education environments is a strong plus
Experience sourcing or responding to RFPs, RFQs, or public-sector bids preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience beneficial, but not required
