Territory Sales Manager - Northeast
HORIBA LAQUA EMEA is a global company providing a wide array of instruments and systems for various applications. They are seeking a Territory Sales Manager who will engage with sales engineers to strategize and execute sales plans while expanding business across multiple fields including Energy, Semiconductor, Life Sciences, and Material Sciences.

Responsibilities
Territory Sales Manager will engage with the territory sales engineers to strategize and execute plans for selling company solutions and products across various fields and markets including Energy, Semiconductor, Life Sciences, and Material Sciences
The Territory Sales Manager, along with the territory sales engineers, is responsible for selling various tools and solutions that include fluorescence, Raman, XRF, Optical Spectroscopy Components and Custom Systems, etc
The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for expanding business in existing Accounts and securing business from new accounts
The Territory Sales Manager must analyze information and data to develop a territory plan to achieve financial objectives for themselves as well as the existing territory sales engineers. This includes maximizing call and travel schedules, targeting specific accounts and applications, and engaging with company market specialists to engage across various markets and fields
The Territory Sales Manager and the team must maintain client satisfaction through consistent and ongoing client contact and engagement while upholding HORIBA Code of Conduct and Professionalism
There will be at least 50% travel
The Territory Sales Manager must call on prospective clients to create demand and communicate relevant scientific discussions that can be nurtured into potential opportunities. Territory Sales Manager, along with territory sales engineers, must be able to deliver product and technical information, plan and attend demonstrations, and prepare quotes and proposals etc
The Territory Sales Manager will be required to attend local trade shows and must maintain a digital marketing portfolio via LinkedIn, ResearchGate, and more
The Territory Sales Manager must stay current with market trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products and solutions
The Territory Sales Manager must ensure that SalesForce, the local CRM, is up to date. This will allow for easy reporting and analyzing of critical information within the territory
The Territory Sales Manager must maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline, Masters or Ph.D. preferred, or equivalent experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
50% Travel required
Minimum of Five (5) Years Sales experience with some managerial experience required. The managerial experience can be sales, operational, business development or marketing related
Sales training must have been provided from a reputable Sales Training Program/Company
Technical, capital equipment and optical / spectroscopy experience a requirement
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Power Point, Excel, CRM, and Digital Marketing
The Territory Sales Manager must reside within the territory. This can include the Northwest as well as the Mid-Atlantic States
