Responsibilities

Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and business domain experts to understand industry-specific data challenges and formulate analytic approaches for Oracle Industry Applications
Develop, train, validate, and deploy ML models and analytic solutions tailored to sector-specific use cases (e.g., consumer, retail, CPG)
Leverage data platform architectures (including medallion architectures) and cloud services (OCI, AWS, Azure) to source, explore, clean, transform, and feature-engineer large datasets
Conduct rigorous statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and exploratory data analysis to generate actionable insights
Build data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings and business value to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Operationalize models within enterprise data pipelines, ensuring scalability, reproducibility, and maintainability
Monitor model performance and data quality; retrain models and update analytic solutions as data or business requirements evolve
Adhere to and help enforce data governance, compliance, and security practices within all analytic workflows
Stay current on emerging AI/ML techniques, tools, and industry trends, and recommend enhancements to team capabilities

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience applying machine learning and advanced analytics in business or enterprise environments
Proven ability to develop, validate, and deploy supervised and unsupervised models using modern data science toolkits (Python, R, scikit-learn, Pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
Experience manipulating and analyzing large-scale datasets in cloud environments – strong familiarity with OCI, AWS, and/or Azure data and ML services
Experience collaborating with data engineers and architects to leverage platform architectures (e.g., data lakes, medallion architecture, ETL pipelines)
Strong skills in data wrangling, feature engineering, statistical analysis, and data visualization
Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in an enterprise setting; experience with regulated industries is a plus
Excellent business communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven ability to explain complex models and results in clear, actionable terms
Experience working in global, cross-functional, and agile teams

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
