DOD SkillBridge Internship – Service Coordinator

Responsibilities
Answer calls from customers, determine customer needs, and coordinate required services that help customers to reach their business and facility goals
Handle call scheduling and dispatching for preventive maintenance, on-call service, service projects, and parts orders
Responsible for submitting invoices to the billing department
Work in a remote-based environment to complete assigned tasks and collaborate with team members
Qualification
Required
Only active military personnel will be considered for this internship and program acceptance requires military approval: Selected candidates will continue to be paid under their current wage/benefits provided by the US Military and will not be paid by Siemens directly throughout internship participation
Minimum of 3 months of internship participation with formal command approval
High school diploma or state-recognized GED
Demonstrated experience and/or applied knowledge/aptitude in the following: Experience in supporting administration, planning, logistics and other similar tasks
Experience managing electronic records, documents and files via software systems
Ability to work in a remote environment and effectively communicate (verbal & written)/collaborate with teams
Experience using Microsoft Office applications
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Must be 18 years of age
Preferred
Familiarity or experience with engineering HVAC, Building Automation, Fire Alarm, or Security systems
Reading and understanding customer service contracts
