Responsibilities

Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies
Process current policyholders’ insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims
Address existing and prospective customer requests in a prompt and friendly matter, including booking new meetings and responding to inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, coverage, claims, and insurance policies
Manage electronic and paper records and ensure all contracting paperwork is kept current
Determine new customers’ insurance needs, desires, insurance risk, prior coverage, and financial standing via booked consultations to ensure the best client experience possible
Network within the community and be involved in community activities
Building relationships through referrals, networking, digital, and community involvement

Required

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED
Possesses outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Skilled with Microsoft Office
Experience in sales or customer service roles, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships through networking, referrals, and community involvement
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment
Strong organizational skills to manage electronic and paper records efficiently
Ability to assess clients' insurance needs and provide tailored solutions
Experience in using digital tools for sales, prospecting, and client management
Excellent communication skills to address customer inquiries and facilitate consultations effectively

Preferred

Bachelor's degree is a plus
Previous health insurance or life insurance experience a plus
