Harris Teeter is a retail company seeking a Full Time Bagger. The primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service by bagging groceries, assisting with carryout and parcel pickup, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

Take Excellent Care of Our Customers by satisfying each customer's needs, exceeding their expectations, and making every shopping visit a pleasant and satisfying experience

Follow correct bagging procedures, providing carryout and parcel pickup service, loading merchandise into customer vehicles, and returning shopping carts into the store

Required

Associates must be at least 16 years of age

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos [in English]

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization who only speak English

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Complete Company's training including but not limited to new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge

The individual is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and smell

The individual is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch

The individual must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and reach from 6 to 72 inches
