Sprayground is seeking a highly experienced Cosmetics Designer and Product Category Manager who will also serve as a Production Coordinator to help build and launch a complete cosmetics and beauty line from the ground up. This role will lead the creative direction of the cosmetics category while working collaboratively with internal designers, external partners, and production teams, ensuring a cohesive and elevated design language across all products.

Responsibilities

Lead the creative direction for cosmetics in collaboration with internal and external design teams

Work closely with other designers to develop packaging, form factors, color stories, and user experience

Ensure a cohesive and elevated design language across all cosmetic products

Collaborate with formulators and labs to align product performance with brand positioning

Help shape concepts across makeup, skincare, grooming, or hybrid beauty categories

Ensure every product delivers a strong visual, tactile, and usage experience

Own the cosmetics category roadmap in partnership with leadership and cross functional teams

Define product assortment, pricing tiers, and margin targets

Research global beauty trends, ingredients, packaging innovations, and competitor brands

Ensure the line is cohesive, scalable, and commercially viable

Support sales and marketing teams with product knowledge and positioning

Coordinate product development timelines from sampling through mass production

Work with factories, labs, packaging vendors, and suppliers

Review samples, manage revisions, and support quality control standards

Ensure compliance with cosmetic regulations across US EU and global markets

Track costs, minimums, and schedules to support on time launches
