Product Lifecycle Manager (PLM) – Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS)
Siemens is a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare. They are seeking a Product Lifecycle Manager for Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) to drive strategy, profitability, and innovation across the lifecycle of their GIS portfolio.

Responsibilities
Own the portfolio strategy and lifecycle for medium-voltage GIS solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs
Lead roadmap development and execution for GIS products, focusing on sustainability, digitalization, and reliability
Drive innovation initiatives, including F-gas-free insulation, eco-efficient design, and integration of digital monitoring and automation features
Deliver on key results that include:
Portfolio profitability and cost optimization
Accelerated roadmap execution for next-generation GIS platforms
Market share growth in targeted segments
Manage cross-functional collaboration with global HQ and regional teams to ensure alignment, knowledge sharing, and successful product launches
Champion a customer-centric roadmap by engaging utilities and industrial clients to shape future offerings and support the energy transition
Monitor portfolio performance using KPIs (e.g., revenue, margin, delivery reliability, and adoption rates) and take proactive actions to optimize lifecycle value
Provide internal training and sales enablement tools to support global teams and customers, including leveraging the Customer Experience Center and Power Academy in Wendell, NC
Support digital transformation and sustainability goals, including the launch and promotion of Siemens’ blue GIS portfolio
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, power systems, or related field
5+ years of experience in product lifecycle management or product management within medium-voltage switchgear, preferably GIS
Strong knowledge of GIS systems, IEC/ANSI standards, and communication protocols
Familiarity with product management processes and tools, CRM, and ERP systems
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred
Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex portfolios
