Conduct legal research using Lexis-Nexis
Handle court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
Collaborate with litigation team on case strategy, client management, and business development
Handle your own caseload
Serve as second chair on larger family law cases
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in North Carolina or can be licensed to practice in North Carolina
2 to 7 years of family law or litigation experience
Experience with legal drafting, including pleadings, motions, and affidavits
Experience conducting legal research and briefing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Ability to work independently on cases while also collaborating with a team
