Responsibilities

Reports to Director, Security Systems

Manage security systems projects (new office, office downsize, retrofit, upgrades, decom) in the AMER region

Support Oracle's Global Real Estate Project Managers within the AMER Region plus Regional Security Director to Design & Develop Security Scope of Work & Bid / Tender Documents

Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with management

Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors

Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates

Confirms system performance by designing and conducting tests

Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements to ensure projects meets the timeline/First Day of Business

Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems

Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions

Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts

Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions

Maintains project data base by writing computer programs, entering and backing up data

Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing and complying with company’s policies, procedures, and regulations

Maintain contingency workforce engaged through the supplier

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Candidate must be a US Citizen and open to 75% - 80% travel

Leads the Security Systems Projects team and, as a team member, provides direction and mentoring to others

Work is non-routine and highly complex, requiring the application of advanced technical and business skills within the area of specialization

Candidates for this position must have a strong Security background in Designing Access Control & CCTV Systems

They shall be responsible for writing technical specifications & developing Security Scope of Work & Bid Tender Documents for Security Vendors to bid from

This position shall require travelling to our Field Offices Regionally to attend project coordination (kick-off) meetings with our Field Real Estate Project Managers, Regional Security Director, Architects and General Contractors

Strong organizational & clear communication skills are absolutely required

Individuals in this position must be self-motivated requiring little or no direct supervision

They must demonstrate strong multitasking ability to manage multiple different projects in their life cycle from conceptual design phase through implementation, testing & commissioning

This position requires a clear background check, along with 5+ Years of Experience Working within the Security Industry

Working knowledge of Lenel OnGuard & Software House CCURE Access Control Systems and Milestone & Genetec Video Management Systems for Closed-circuit television (CCTV)

Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2020 or higher is desirable; Word Processing & Excel Spreadsheet skills are absolutely required

Preferred

Preferred qualifications include 8 years of relevant experience and a BTech/BE degree

Professional associations within Security Industry such as ASIS membership & CPP Licenses are desirable but not required

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
