Project Manager, Founding Principles: Enhancing K-12 American History and Civics Education

Responsibilities
Lead execution of a three-year Department of Education grant for the American History and Civics (AHC-Seminars) program
Oversee implementation, management, and reporting for the grant
Direct operations, supervise activities, monitor outcomes per federal regulations, and manage the budget with the Principal Investigator
Ensure compliance with policies, communication with partners, LEAs, evaluators, and the Department of Education, and progress toward objectives
Qualification
Required
BA/BS/MA/MS in history, philosophy, political science, education, public administration, or related field
Minimum 2 years of program development, implementation, and management experience, preferably in higher education or non-profit
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
Knowledge of K-12 education, teacher professional development, and/or history and civics programming
Knowledge of federal grant administration, including evaluation, reporting, and budget monitoring
Excellent time management, collaboration, organization, and communication skills
Bachelor's Degree
2 years of program management experience
1 year of supervisory experience
Experience with federal grant administration and budget management
Preferred
Experience with K-12 educators and school districts
Experience managing history, civics, or humanities educational programs
