Responsibilities
Operate traditional land surveying tools (GPS/Total Stations) to complete topographic mapping surveys
Utilize a digital level to set high-accuracy elevations on project control and benchmarks
Calculate horizontal and vertical positions from engineering plans for contractors to use during construction
Model 3D remote sensing data
Conduct property research for land surveying activities
Draft existing site conditions using multiple software programs
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in Civil Technology or a related field
Minimum of 1–5 years of survey or related experience
At least 1 year of previous field experience
Preferred
Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Trimble Business Center
Experience using Trimble survey and scanning equipment
