Responsibilities

Architect, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs on AWS

Design cloud native solutions using Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, API Gateway, and IAM

Own system performance, reliability, and scalability across production environments

Partner with product managers and cross functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions

Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers with a focus on quality and growth

Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause resolution

Contribute to cloud security strategy protecting user access and sensitive healthcare data

Design and implement AI driven cloud solutions to analyze data and optimize workflows

Contribute to architecture decisions and long term technical strategy

Document system design, architecture, and development processes

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

8+ years of hands on cloud development experience, primarily AWS

Strong experience with TypeScript, Python, JavaScript, or Node.js

Deep knowledge of AWS services including EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM

Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB

Expertise building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and modern deployment practices

Strong problem solving skills with a performance and scalability mindset

Clear communicator who works well across engineering, product, and business teams

Comfortable working in Agile development environments
