Responsibilities

Journal Entries & Financial Allocations

Prepare and post complex journal entries including depreciation, asset sales and disposals, interest receivable and payable, prepaid insurance, management fees, payroll liabilities, job supervision allocations, and intercompany lot transfers

Closing & Compliance Documentation

Manage receipt, tracking, and distribution of HOA closing letters, condo maps, Certificates of Occupancy, and surveys to title companies and internal teams

Sales & Work-in-Process Accounting

Track and verify all earnest money and change order deposits for sales staff. Record all home and lot sales and all costs of sales and work-in-process

Multi-Entity Bookkeeping & Audits

Oversee bookkeeping for all companies under the corporate umbrella. Coordinate annual audits with outside CPA firms and provide all required supporting documentation
