InterneTEC Mechanical is looking for a mechanical contracting summer intern to assist lead foreman in the trades of sheet metal, plumbing, and piping on commercial construction job sites. The role involves gaining knowledge across multiple departments and supporting project managers in various tasks related to mechanical contracting.

Responsibilities
Obtain Knowledge of multiple departments within the mechanical contracting industry including Operations, Preconstruction, and service
Assist in bid process of construction projects such as system take-offs, obtaining vendor and material pricing, and scope reviewal meetings
Support Project Managers through the submittal design process of mechanical and plumbing projects
Gain hands on experience within the three major mechanical contracting trades: Sheet metal, Piping, and Plumbing
Assist foreman on job sites by installing mechanical systems
Learn how to safely and properly use power tools required within the trades
Qualification
Required
Must have completed, or working towards a bachelors degree (Mechanical or Electrical engineering required)
No experience required
Career minded
Physical activities include standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders, walking and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. are required
