Responsibilities

Use various communication media to share business-related information with employees throughout the Business Unit
Work to ensure that employees are aware of, understand, and know how they can impact the goals and objectives of their Business Unit
Ensure the application of brand guidelines and brand templates and inform the organization the importance of brand alignment and positioning
Research, write, and edit communication materials for use in various media to support the overall communication strategies of the Business Unit
Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals
Plan, edit and manage publications or other communication products at the Business Unit
Provide communication support to departments, groups, and managers to assist in identifying communication needs and messages, and develop appropriate communication plans that support the Enterprise, Business Unit, and Department objectives
Plan and manage communication activities at the Business Unit

Required

Effective writing skills and experience, including grammatical usage, persuasive copy, and style
Ability to think strategically, collaborate cross-functionally, influence without authority, manage projects, and build trust quickly
Knowledge of metrics and measurement to represent successful internal communications campaigns
Knowledge of layout/design for both print publications and online
Demonstrated ability to creatively concept, ensuring all messaging aligns with the values of the business
Ability to be creative and love working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
Bachelor's degree in Communications or Business, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience

Preferred

Strong familiarity with communication tools, including digital, video, and photo
Experience with the communication planning process
Professional writing, editing, and proofreading skills and experience, including experience to source stories from employees
Knowledge of communication theories, especially employee/internal communications, to drive employee engagement
Expertise in SharePoint
Familiarity with production and operations processes
