Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement software applications to support Fiserv's business goals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance
Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer review code changes
Adapt and evolve responsibilities as required to meet project demands and align with organizational objectives

Required

Proficient in Progress OpenEdge technologies, such as AppBuilder, Data Dictionary, SmartObjects, and ABL (Advanced Business Language)
3+ years of experience in software development
1+ years of experience in Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages
1+ years of experience in SQL databases
1+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services
1+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
1+ years of experience with Agile methodologies
3+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience
You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role

Preferred

3 years of experience in the financial services industry
3+ years of experience with microservices architecture
3+ years of experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
3+ years of experience with performance tuning and optimization
Open Edge REST Services API experience a Plus
