Responsibilities

Monitor and troubleshoot content ingestion through the ingest pipeline (Splunk, AWS S3)
Review job reports, identify errors, and coordinate fixes with contributor relations
Report system issues to engineering and assist in testing solutions
Manage AWS S3 storage for assisted uploads
Suggest and support automation to streamline workflows
Onboard new assisted ingest partners, including AWS S3 configuration and workflow training
Provide daily and ad-hoc ingestion activity reports to partners and internal collaborators
Develop clear documentation and training materials
Deliver technical support for tools and systems impacting content delivery
Gather and analyze data to measure ingest performance across content departments
Troubleshoot issues related to file transfers, transcoding, or automated scripting
Identify and implement process improvements to boost reliability and efficiency

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
Experience in media technology, library science, or a similar area
Strong technical skills: Excel, AWS (especially S3), JSON/XML, and monitoring machine-generated data
Clear communicator who bridges technical and non-technical stakeholders
Highly organized multitasker who performs under high volume and tight deadlines
Curious, adaptable, and eager problem-solver

Preferred

Familiarity with Python and Java
Experience supporting technology and asset management systems in digital media
Knowledge of video/image transcoding
Familiarity with creative tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, or After Effects
