Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain radio systems, including hardware, software, and associated components
Perform diagnostic, troubleshooting and repairs on radio equipment to ensure optimal functionality
Install, program, and configure Motorola Astro radio systems
Installation of Radio Equipment in Vehicles of all types at Customer locations and in the shop
Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure system reliability
Collaborate with clients to understand their communication needs with good customers service skills
Provide technical support and training to end-users
Keep detailed accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and system configurations
Stay updated with the latest developments in Motorola radio technology and industry standards
Qualification
Required
Proven experience with two-way radio systems
Knowledge of radio frequency principles and technologies
Knowledge of telecommunication equipment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of Networking
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
Willingness to know that no two days are going to be the same
Ability to pass a DOT Drug test and physical
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work with hand tools
Strong commitment to safety and proactive approach to challenges
Valid drivers license
An industry license (FCC GROL, or CET)
A valid driver license and insurability in the state of Washington
Preferred
Any relevant certifications (e.g., Motorola Solutions certifications) are a plus bonus for Astro Certification
