TORREY LLC is a New York City-based interior design firm focusing on residential commissions for private clients. They are seeking a creative and motivated Interior Design Intern to assist with various design tasks and support the design team under supervision.

Responsibilities

Assist in the sourcing, maintenance, and update of the materials resource library, liaising with design showrooms to help keep the library current; returning samples when required

Contacting vendors to confirm lead time, pricing, stock information, etc. for specific projects

Assist in the sourcing of new materials, furniture, and lighting

Assist in the production of design drawings, presentations, and digital modeling in support of the Interior Design team

Work under close supervision of the design staff and receive instruction and mentoring regarding design tasks

Assist the Studio Assistant with various office management tasks, errands, coordination of shipping/delivery of packages, etc. required for the daily operation of the office
