Salt Lake Community College is Utah’s largest open-access college, and they are seeking a Specialist I in Human Resources to provide excellent customer service at the reception desk. The Specialist will be the first point of contact for the HR department, handling confidential information and assisting a diverse range of individuals.

Attention to details, thoroughness and accuracy in composing, typing and proofreading materials

Knowledge and practical use of Microsoft office production (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Ability to operate standard office equipment including, computers (including several computer programs), fax, copier, multi-line phone system

Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College

Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities
