Transition Manager

Responsibilities
Assist store manager in areas of sales, appearance, and overall operations of store
Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved
Responsible for supervising work performed by all team members assigned to store/HUB store
Work jointly with District Manager and Store Manager in recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and discharging team members under his/her supervision
Communicate all information contained in Zipline and monthly store managers’ meetings to all team members
Train new team members assigned to him or her
Handle team member performance evaluations and recommend pay increases for these individuals
Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management to ensure the selection of qualified team members
Support Store Manager By Working With The Assistant Management Team Ensuring Safety Compliance And That All Team Members Receive Appropriate Training In All Areas Including, But Not Limited To
Training: FastTrack Training Work-exercises during team members’ introductory training Customer service programs Required training certifications Equipment utilized for in-store services Miscellaneous training workshops
Coaching new team members Delivery vehicles Accidents/1-800 call – in reports Monitoring/reinforcement of safety expectations
Make sales calls with/without store manager
Support store manager in area of store operations as assigned including store accounting/daily report, daily invoice review, i.e., cash paid outs, voids, sales tax, missing tickets, etc., cash management, store security, etc
Responsible for store/vehicle maintenance, performance and appearance of delivery fleet and maintain records for each vehicle
Ensure staff is keeping store/HUB store neat, clean and organized at all times Electronic scheduling, clocking, and payroll
Manage key components of profitability
Monitor professional customer returns for core and warranty abuse
Review competitive price matches and price overrides for proper use and address
Review individual team member productivity and KPI dashboard daily
Review monthly P&L statement with store manager and discuss areas of opportunity
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program
Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately
Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems
Preferred
O'Reilly store and/or distribution center experience
Completed O'Reilly management training program
Advanced computer skills
ASE Certification
