Responsibilities
Serve as the primary owner of the company’s AI and data initiatives, aligning business needs with technical solutions
Collect, clean, and manage data from internal systems and stakeholders to support analytics and program development
Design, develop, and maintain AI-driven tools, scripts, and automation solutions using hands-on coding
Collaborate with construction, engineering, finance, real estate, and tax teams to understand workflows and identify opportunities for AI-driven efficiency and insight
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable development plans
Manage project timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple initiatives
Supervise and mentor one direct report, providing technical guidance and performance support
Support the integration of AI solutions into existing systems and workflows
Monitor emerging AI technologies and industry trends to evaluate potential applications within the organization
Prepare documentation, reporting, and presentations to communicate progress, outcomes, and recommendations to leadership
Qualification
Required
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
Approximately five or more years of professional experience in software development, data engineering, AI, or related technical roles
Demonstrated hands-on coding experience with modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and VS Code/Copilot on software projects
Experience with Python and JavaScript preferred
Experience working with data pipelines, APIs, and analytical tools
Experience managing projects and supervising team members
Consulting or having a stakeholder-facing experience is strongly preferred
Strong understanding of data structures, statistics, and applied analytics
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience in construction, engineering, real estate, or industrial environments is a plus but not required
