Responsibilities

Managing and directing the general and overall operations of the National Recruitment Division Branch
Ensuring that the NRD is equipped with the resources and support functions to perform mission and recruiting requirements by advocating for appropriate resources based on data-based spending, staffing, and logistic plan
Providing high level oversight and management of operational resources, including the execution and planning of budget and people resources, logistics, marketing and advertising and training using designated technology systems and reporting tools
Establishing overall program performance, metrics, and measures to evaluate, monitor, and take corrective action or providing an alternate course of action when necessary
Representing NRD's interests and presents goals and objectives in stakeholder meetings and deliberations within the Agency

Required

You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position
Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with Selective Service
Primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years

Meet all qualification requirements, including education if applicable to this position, subject to verification at any stage of the application process
Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements (current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the federal service) by 01/13/2026
Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet the requirement for specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as coordinating training needs and training request, budgetary, contract, and travel coordination, in support of a subordinate staff of recruiters
You must complete all required steps in the process. In addition to the application and application questionnaire, this position requires an online assessment
Your responses to the USA Hire Assessments will be reused for one year (in most cases) from the date you complete an assessment
