NEOGOV is seeking a Communications & Outreach Coordinator for their Nonprofit Center. This part-time, contractual position involves developing marketing strategies, managing social media presence, and supporting nonprofit organizations in Anne Arundel County.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective marketing and outreach strategies to increase awareness of the Nonprofit Center’s programs, resources, and training opportunities

Draft and edit copy for publications, newsletters, press releases and other written materials

Design and distribute visually engaging materials both in print and online

Support the NPC strategic planning and the design of related documents and presentations

Enhance and maintain the Nonprofit Center’s social media presence

Regularly review and update website content to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with current initiatives

Promote the Nonprofit Events Hub and NPC Job Board

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach campaigns

Assist the Professional Development Manager with planning, marketing and implementing NPC-sponsored programs and events (including set up of event spaces and technical assistance)

Assist Resident Organizations with creating promotional videos

Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Required

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. Equivalent experience considered
