Lead crew in the day-to-day turf management practices associated with maintaining professional sports field
Assist Director of Grounds in creating yearly plan for maintenance, fertility, and budget
Assist in stadium field event set up: soccer matches, concerts, football games
Assist in painting multiple athletic fields throughout playing season: soccer, high school/college football and logos
Use of grow lights and growth blankets in fall/winter months
Irrigation management and repair
Hire and schedule gameday staff according to events
Communicate with coaches about training and field needs
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
1+ years of work experience working in sports field management
Experience leading a crew of 2 or more employees
Able to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
Able to lift at least 50lbs
Must have or be able to obtain a Texas Noncommercial Pesticide Applicators License
