They are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to drive the automation, scalability, and reliability of their platforms, working across infrastructure and application delivery to implement best practices for CI/CD and cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable deployments

Automate infrastructure provisioning using OpenTofu and AWS services

Implement containerization and orchestration strategies with Docker and ECS/Kubernetes

Optimize system performance, scalability, and security across cloud environments

Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the SDLC

Manage source control workflows and code reviews via GitHub

Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging for proactive system health management

Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives

Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in DevOps and automation

Required

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Software Engineering roles

Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native architectures

Expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS/Kubernetes)

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (OpenTofu, Terraform)

Solid understanding of monitoring and observability tools

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment

Must have the ability to read and understand various process flows and procedures

Strong internal and external communication skills, both verbal and written

Must be willing and able to work a 5-day schedule and additional hours beyond regularly scheduled shift to cover vacancies, if necessary

Must be able to sit or stand for two hours at a time

Must be able to operate computers and phones to support position requirements

Strong Microsoft Office Skills are a must

Preferred

Knowledge of backend technologies (Java, Spring Boot) and frontend frameworks (Angular) is a plus
