Maintenance Repairman 2 (Salary) - Linn Run State Park Complex

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Maintenance Repairman 2 for the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining park roads, trails, and facilities, performing various repair and upkeep tasks on vehicles, machinery, and buildings to ensure the park's operation and maintenance.

Repair and upkeep of vehicles, machinery, buildings, and equipment
Routine mechanical maintenance on park vehicles, such as changing filters, belts, and oil
More intricate tasks like brake repairs and tune-ups
Involved in electrical work, which entails installing and repairing outlets, lights, and electrical services for cabins
Plumbing duties will involve the installation and maintenance of fixtures and water lines
Carpentry tasks will require you to repair doors and windows, replace logs and flooring, and conduct roof repairs
Perform welding tasks, fabricating and repairing bridge structures using various techniques and operating construction equipment

Required

Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities
This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License
You must be able to perform essential job functions
