Paid Creative Strategist

SBcollective is partnering with CleanBoss, a fast-growing CPG brand focused on redefining cleaning products with safe ingredients. The Paid Creative Strategist will own the creative strategy and execution for paid social media, driving virality and revenue through performance-driven creative.

Responsibilities

Own the performance creative strategy for paid social, with a primary focus on Meta
Concept and execute high-performing video ads (short- and long-form, up to 2 minutes)
Build ads end-to-end: scripting, editing, and versioning
Develop viral-first creative frameworks (UGC-style, founder-led, problem/solution, etc.)
Rapidly test creative concepts, hooks, formats, and messaging using AI tools and automation
Collaborate with media buyer and analytics partner to iterate and create high performing content based on performance insights
Select, prioritize, and refine paid ad concepts based on performance and testing strategy
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and E-Commerce teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across channels
Experiment with new platforms, formats, and emerging channels beyond Meta
Stay ahead of social trends, platform changes, and performance creative best practices
Maintain a strong creative testing cadence with clear hypotheses and learning agendas
Own the creative iteration pipeline from ideation to execution
Capture simple concepts yourself as needed

Required

4–7+ years of experience in performance creative, paid social creative, or growth marketing, ideally within CPG, DTC, or consumer brands
Proven track record of building ads that convert and scale on Meta
Deep understanding of performance creative principles: hooks, thumb-stopping visuals, pacing
Experience creating longer-form paid video content (30s–2 mins) that still performs
Familiarity with TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or emerging paid social formats
Comfortable working as an individual contributor in a fast-paced environment
Hands-on experience using AI tools for ideation, scripting, editing, or testing
Highly experimental mindset; you test fast, learn fast, and iterate relentlessly
Strong taste level and intuition for what will resonate culturally

Preferred

Video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, or similar)
Experience working in content creation (short form, UGC, social)
A network of editors, designers, creators, or freelancers we can tap into
