Responsibilities
Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer disputes and use operational systems proficiently
Conduct customer interviews and accurately record information in the computer system
Communicate with customers via phone and in person to process orders for installation, service changes, or discontinuations
Complete contract forms, determine service charges, collect deposits, update address records, and issue discontinuation orders
Demonstrate proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Provide services to customers in a manner that fosters positive relationships
Engage with customers and Waste Connections staff to address service requirements and resolve issues or complaints
Thrive in a fast-paced environment with high call volumes, actively soliciting new or additional service sales
Assist with reception desk duties when needed
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in reading, writing, comprehension, and communication in English is essential
Candidates should possess at least 2 years of prior experience in customer service roles
Proficiency in typing and 10-key skills is required
Strong organizational and communication skills are a must
Candidates should demonstrate problem-solving abilities, including data gathering, information compilation, and report preparation
Preferred
While a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, it's not mandatory
Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Email is advantageous
