Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical power systems site plans, single line diagrams, duct banks, load tabulation, and plan views, including power distribution and controls coordination
Create drawings and technical specifications
Conduct site visits and meetings
Troubleshoot power systems and ensure compliance with relevant standards and safety protocols
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and energy-efficient solutions for water and wastewater systems
Qualification
Required
Strong background in Power Engineering and expertise in the design and implementation of power solutions in water and wastewater applications
Proficiency in Power Systems and Electric Power concepts, with a focus on safe and efficient distribution
Comprehensive understanding of Electrical Engineering principles and practical applications
Experience in Power distribution and backup generators
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required; PE or EIT is advantageous
Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards in water and wastewater systems
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification, or eligibility to obtain one, is highly desirable
