They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Staff RF/Hardware Design Engineer to lead the development of advanced 5G radio hardware, working closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement next-generation hardware infrastructure platforms.

Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of RF, supply, and RF circuits for front-end (RFFE) and transceiver modules for 4G and 5G NR (sub-6 GHz) systems
Perform schematic capture, component selection, simulation, layout review, and design optimization for performance, manufacturability, and cost
Define and execute RF test plans, including S-parameter, noise figure, linearity, P1dB, IIP3, VSWR, and ACLR measurements
Drive PCB design reviews, ensuring proper RF layout techniques, grounding, impedance control, and thermal design
Collaborate with system and baseband teams to define RF system architecture, interfaces, and calibration requirements
Conduct signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis for high-speed digital and mixed-signal sections
Support bring-up, troubleshooting, and validation of prototypes in the lab
Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to long-term hardware roadmap planning
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
12+ years of hands-on experience in RF/hardware design for wireless communication systems
Strong knowledge of RF circuit design, including LNAs, PAs, mixers, PLLs, filters, power supply, clock and matching networks
Experience with RF simulation tools (Keysight ADS, Cadence AWR, or equivalent)
Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Cadence Allegro, Altium, etc.)
Solid understanding of RF specifications, including RF performance metrics
Hands-on lab experience with RF instruments: vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes
Experience in system-level debugging and hardware bring-up
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a strong ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
Preferred
Experience with mass production design for 5G infrastructure, small cells, or mobile platforms
Understanding thermal design and mechanical constraints in RF systems
Experience with EMC/EMI design and compliance testing
Advanced degree (Ph.D.) in RF/Microwave Engineering or related field
