Business Analyst 2
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a highly motivated problem solver for the position of Business Analyst 2 within the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs. This role involves assisting in streamlining and improving data reporting, engaging in testing, troubleshooting, and providing technical assistance while serving as a liaison between end-users and IT staff.

Responsibilities
Assisting the department's efforts to streamline and improve data reporting
Actively engaging in testing, troubleshooting, providing technical assistance, analyzing data for the department's data systems, and making recommendations to improve the functionality of the data systems
Serving as the liaison between end-users and Information Technology (IT) staff, analyzing and articulating their business needs and challenges while maximizing available technology
Assisting with the department's internal computer inventory and employee computer work stations
Qualification
Required
One year as a Business Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
One year as an Information Technology Trainee (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Five years of business process analysis experience; or
One year of business process analysis experience and a bachelor's degree; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
