Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County is seeking an Accountant to manage financial transactions and reporting. The role involves processing payables and receivables, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with budget targets and regulations.

Responsibilities

Process and record all financial transactions (payables and or receivables) in the general ledger

Compiles regular financial reports (budget variance reports, general ledger updates, etc.) to support management-level decision-making regarding the Club's fiscal health

Monitor day-to-day accounting processes to identify opportunities for quality improvement

Ensure the maintenance of accurate and timely financial records by entering, processing and reconciling transactions in accordance with established procedures and formats

Implement day-to-day accounting activities, processing all financial transactions and reports through administrative systems, consistent with Club policies and procedures

May be responsible for payroll processing and maintaining records according to Federal and State guidelines

May prepare tax filings and coordinate annual audit activities with external auditors
