Responsibilities
Forecast material requirements and develop sourcing strategies to support operational demand
Source, negotiate, and purchase goods, services, and raw materials while managing supplier relationships and contracts
Control inventory levels, conduct audits, manage budgets, and maintain accurate stock records
Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution to ensure timely and accurate material flow
Collaborate with production, purchasing, and cross-functional teams to align material supply with operational needs and new product launches
Utilize ERP and MRP systems to analyze data, monitor performance, and report on key KPIs
Implement and maintain a Kanban system for consumable inventory management
Identify opportunities to improve material flow, reduce waste, and increase efficiency
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve shortages and troubleshoot supply issues
Proven leadership and communication skills, including experience leading teams and negotiating with suppliers
Technical proficiency with supply chain software, including ERP and MRP systems
Solid understanding of inventory management, budgeting, quality standards, and supply chain best practices
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Several years of experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain operations
Preferred
