Responsibilities
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close calendars, checklists, and schedules for timely completion
Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining audit-ready documentation
Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions using Sage 50 and OneStream
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support documentation
Track and monitor subsidiary long-term debt/cash activity; Prepare summary packets
Load trial balances and supplemental data into OneStream; Review subsidiary submissions
Investigate and resolve consolidation and reporting discrepancies
Oversee operating and finance lease accounting, including disclosures and documentation
Support preparation of SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K) and coordinate with internal teams
Perform flux analysis, reasonableness checks, and data validation
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance system usage
Review and set up new vendors in accordance with company policies
Serve as a key contact for auditors
Maintain organized and compliant financial records
Support ad hoc accounting, reporting, technical research, and special projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including close and financial reporting
Experience with general ledger systems and financial consolidation tools
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset
Ability to manage multiple deadlines with a compliance-focused mindset
