Responsibilities
Install, analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain Leybold vacuum systems and equipment
Promote and sell spare parts, service repairs, and aftermarket solutions
Collaborate with account managers to identify and penetrate new accounts
Provide technical advice, training, and support to customers
Maintain detailed records of site visits and follow-up activities
Assist in product qualifications and installations
Recommend products/services tailored to customer needs
Support sales channels with technical expertise
Train and mentor additional field service staff
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of field service experience preferred
Background in automotive or mechanical repair/assembly
Valid driver's license required
Preferred
Experience with vacuum technology (e.g., turbopumps, dry pumps, leak detectors)
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Ability to build customer relationships and drive aftermarket sales
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Self-starter with minimal supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer environments
