Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an Electro-Optical Verification Systems Engineer to join their team in Sunnyvale, CA. Responsibilities

Support a group in the program Systems Engineering team involved with requirement and verification activities
Preparing, submitting, and maintaining verification summary documents in compliance with customer and program standards
Assist with management of program system, unit, and component specifications, requirements and verification material, interface documents, and related engineering documents
Being a point of coordination between the system teams, higher level assembly teams in the larger program, sub-contractor teams, customer teams, and management
Experience with systems engineering processes and configuration management for large, developmental efforts and flexibility to adapt with evolving process and verification methodologies

Required

Verification experience in the electro-optical or equivalent payload industry
Knowledge of industry-standard verification methodologies as well as tools such as IBM DOORS or equivalent
Experience with reviewing and evaluating verification Objective Evidences and collaborating with engineering design teams to identify and resolve verification issues
Ability to work with test teams in test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
Understanding of complex sensor-based payload design, integration into a larger system, and environmental performances for verification evaluations
Interim secret clearance required prior to start; must be able to obtain a secret clearance; US citizenship required

Preferred

7+ years of proven verification experience in the electro-optical or equivalent payload industry
Ensure complete traceability exists between requirements, design, verification and objective evidences
Experience setting up and managing engineering peer reviews and action closure
Familiarity with one or more of the following: electro-optical sensor system technical experience, space-based systems technical experience, effects of environments on complex technical systems
Experience with space-based electro-optical payload systems and their sub-systems and components; including design, development, testing, production
Experience working with multi-disciplinary technical and/or engineering teams
Strong presentation skills and capable of engaging with audiences of varying technical knowledge
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
