Universal Balancing, now part of Burke Porter, is seeking a PLC Controls Engineer to develop and program multi-station assembly and test systems. The role involves configuring PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems, as well as applying motion control techniques and integrating networking protocols.

Develop and program multi-station assembly and test systems
Configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
Apply motion control techniques and solutions
Utilize PanelView Plus and PanelBuilder32 platforms
Integrate networking and communication protocols
Qualification
Required
Develop and program multi-station assembly and test systems
Configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
Apply motion control techniques and solutions
Utilize PanelView Plus and PanelBuilder32 platforms
Integrate networking and communication protocols
Strong working knowledge of mechatronic systems and components
Mechanical aptitude with a dedicated work ethic
Proficiency in Allen-Bradley RSLogix 5000
Familiarity with Ethernet/IP networking
Understanding of step and state logic
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally
Preferred
Experience with SIEMENS platforms
Background in powertrain systems
Fanuc and ABB robot programming experience
