Responsibilities

Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general repairs
Respond quickly and courteously to guest and team member requests, prioritizing safety and comfort
Conduct daily property walks and inspections to identify and address maintenance needs
Maintain all tools, equipment, and workspaces in clean and safe condition
Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk teams to address in-room issues promptly
Monitor and report major repair needs or safety hazards to engineering leadership
Assist with preventative maintenance programs to ensure long-term functionality of systems and equipment
Support special projects, renovations, or seasonal maintenance as needed
Uphold all safety, security, and OSHA standards while on duty
Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used

Required

A hands-on, solutions-focused professional who takes pride in being reliable and resourceful
Skilled in one or more trades, with the ability to quickly learn hotel systems and equipment
Calm under pressure, able to assess problems and take swift, effective action
Physically capable of lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in varied indoor/outdoor conditions
Detail-oriented and able to manage time efficiently with minimal supervision
Comfortable working flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed
Holds or willing to obtain required certifications or licenses per local regulations

Preferred

Experienced in hotel or commercial maintenance preferred, but not required—we'll train the right candidate
