Responsibilities

Determine customers’ needs and provide appropriate service and product suggestions

Encourage repeat business through suggestive selling and handle special orders

Educate yourself about products and assist in inventory management

Participate in setting up promotional events and maintain store cleanliness

Assist with unloading freight containers and accurately receive, check in, and price merchandise

Train new sales associates and assist in store inventory preparation

Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a professional store appearance

Accurately handle transactions as a cashier
